A Philosophy of the Creative Imagination

Imagination is more important than knowledge.
For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world,
stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.

— Albert Einstein

The mission of creative-being is to awaken the fiery spark of creativity that ignites the expansion of the epic imagination. As the marriage of theory and practice, creative-being is a double-sided approach that combines conceptual understanding with its visual elaboration. In its fundamental significance, it is a dialectical movement of the creative spirit that aims to fulfill our greatest potential.

In keeping with its philosophic orientation, creative-being is accompanied by a Socratic pedagogy, a method that sees the role of the teacher more as a kind of “midwife” helping students give birth to their own ideas and fulfill their creative potential.
