Norland Téllez, PhD

As a Visual Development Artist and Character Designer, I look for opportunities to put my knowledge, talent and skill in the service of multimedia imaginations: television, movies, and video games. As a CalArts graduate with over two decades of experience in the animation industry, I work out of a strong foundation in animation, classical figure drawing, perspective, composition, painting, and color theory. I also have advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign, along  a thorough background in traditional media. Very much enjoying a team environment and being part of a collective effort, I also have producer and supervisory experience which is backed by strong organizational and time-management skills.

Chief Creative Officer

Currently working on my new edition of the great Maya epic Popol-Wuh which is considered to be the wellspring of Latin American Literature. Drawing from its native Quiche-Maya sources, I am creating a contemporary version of the text in both English & Spanish, soon to be published as a richly illustrated classic of epic literature.

Among the many responsibilities of production and postproduction, I can highlight:
