On my objective
As an animation artist and designer, I aim at the creation of visionary experiences in film, television, and streaming web. As CalArts graduate with over two decades of experience in the animation industry, I work out of a strong foundation of 2D Animation, Classical Figure Drawing, Perspective and Composition, and Art History. Software I use includes Storyboard Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.

Working in the masters program, I am currently teaching Life Drawing for animation.

Otis College of Art & Design Character Design & Animation Teacher
Both online and on site at the Otis campus, I am currently teaching courses in animation, Character Design, Life Drawing, and Color Scripting in the extension programs.

Contributor to the Mythblasts series where we explore the mythic dimension of life and creativity with a special reference to the work of Joseph Campbell.

Epic Reach Storyboard Artist
For the pilot season for the web series Monster Treads, soon to be released in YouTubeKids, I was responsible for editing and designing cinematic experiences for stop-motion animation.

2017 - 2019
The Age of Learning Background Painter & Designer
For the pilot season of Search & Explore, my responsibility was to take storyboards through the layout process on to final paint and color.

2014 - 2016
Bronx Bull Animation Director
Moving Forward: The Untold Story of the Bronx Bull A documentary film on the life and legend of Jake LaMotta, the “Bronx Bull,” which incorporated an animated component whose production design and animation became my responsibility.

2013 - 2014
Dawn Sign Press Animation Director & Co-Writer
Once Upon a Sign. Principal co-author and animation director of this award-winning mini-series, I oversaw the animation and production design of the first 6 shows, working alongside CJ Jones. Among the many responsibilities of production and postproduction I can highlight:
- Sensitive client handling with basic knowledge of ASL
- Oversight of costume design, props, and backgrounds for digital compositing
- Management of Production Schedule, Resources, and Animation Pipeline
- Directing offsite teams, including Animators, Editors, and Compositors.

Working with the executives and creative leads in the development of Original Series, I had a chance to develop original content for children’s television entertainment.
- Handled existing properties along new lines of development
- Created original worlds with a widened sense of diversity
- Pushed artistic boundaries open for a global audience

Walt Disney Consumer Products Lead Instructor in Color Theory
Teaching at the Grand Central Creative Campus in Glendale, I led a series of courses on Color Theory in Animation as well as Theatrical Life-Drawing where costumed figure drawing in the context of story took center stage.
